Эссе на тему: Tourism ruins everything - пример выполненной работы

Nowadays international communication plays a big role in our world. It doesn't only improve economic situation in countries, but also gives us a unique opportunity to learn more about our neighbours. The integral part of this process is tourism that is developed in any country in many different ways. However, some people claim that tourism doesn't make any benefits for us because it destroys everything that it touches. Is this true though?
From my point of view the position above is almost groundless and there are a lot of arguments to support my opinion. First, tourism is the best way for a country to be rich since while visiting it, people would spend a lot of money that would increase its budget. Secondly, tourism might improve international standing of any country. For example, if a country is famous for its beautiful ancient castles or magnificent historical museums, it means that this country is very developed in the cultural field. Such a country would get a positive reputation at once. Finally, tourism makes people build a lot of new parks, high buildings, hotels and sport centres that might be used by locals in their own country in seasons when tourists aren't prone to travelling abroad.

On the other hand, a part of the public in general tends to believe that tourism turns countries into a real bedlam because very often tourists have gall to misbehave among unfamiliar people. Sometimes they break furniture at hotels, get drunk and insult staff, don't respect local traditions and so on.

As for me, I partly don't agree with the statement above. Nowadays most of people who travel abroad are very polite and kind so there almost aren't any problems with them. Nevertheless, I have to admit that every process has its own drawbacks and advantages so stories about terrible tourists aren't fictional.

All things considered, I would say that tourism, despite its negative consequences, is a normal phenomenon in the modern world. Even now we can see that some countries can't even exist without it. What is more, tourism contributes to people to see foreign countries and broaden their horizons by improving language skills.
