Whether being strict with little children is right is a debatable question. Some people agree with this point of view, while others believe that parents shouldn’t be strict with their little children. In this essay, I will try to look at this issue. I am certain that parents must not be strict with their little children. Firstly, when a child is parented strictly, he feels unloved and when he gets older, he looks for love in all the wrong places. Secondly, when parents are severe to a little child, he becomes afraid of making a mistake or being punished. He starts lying and with time he becomes an excellent liar. Some people believe that it is right to be strict with little children. When parents are strict, children are quiet, behave well, don’t do bad things, respect their parents, and always do what they say. I cannot agree with that opinion because children just learn to obey. They also do not learn to think for themselves. In the future, they will easily follow the orders of other people without questioning authority when they should. They will not want to take responsibility, but rather follow the group and shift the blame onto others. To sum up, little children should not be raised in a strict way.
