Эссе: It is easier to make friends than to keep them

Some people are sure that it is simpler to find new friends than to work on an old friendship. Others believe that keeping old friends is much easier. In this essay, I will look upon this issue. In my opinion, it is easier to make new friends. First, it is always easier to start a new relationship than to keep old one because when people know each other for a long time they learn some things which do not always please them or they notice some character traits which annoy them. Second, if a person moves to another city or country, it will get near to impossible to keep that old friend because of the distance. When people don't spend time together, they lose connection and it takes much effort to keep that relationship while it is much easier to find new people to spend time with. Nevertheless, there is s great number of people who think that it is easier keeping old relationships than making new friends. According to them, an old friend will always understand you better, forgive you things and dids that a new one would never forgive. You cannot totally trust a new friend while an old one is reliable. I cannot totally agree with that point of view because despite the trust people have to old friends, the expectations of old friends are always higher and often they do not forgive you even a small thing and worse turn into your enemies, who know too much about you. To summarize, I would like to say that is definitely easier to make new friends than to keep old ones, especially when you change location.
