Эссе: A pupil cannot study effectively without a computer

Modern people cannot live without things that make our life easier such as a computer. A modern education process is closely connected with modern technologies and there is a question: can a computer become a part of our educational process instead of time-tested books? In the essay I would like to express my point of view on the issue.

Personally, I think that modern life-style dictates new rules in different spheres of life including education. To start with, it is effective to study a new material with the help of tablets, computers because a heavy schoolbag with “hundreds” of books is an unhealthy thing for children’s backs. Moreover, with the help of a computer and the Internet pupils can learn how to select only useful and verified information for the purpose.

Others believe that modern technologies cause damage to pupils’ health, in particular to sight and psyche. Besides, instead of study children use the Internet in order to make fun or, because of curiosity, to see what is forbidden for them. I cannot agree with these arguments because most of parents keep an eye on the time and purpose of using the computer by children.

As a conclusion, I suppose that there are as advantages as disadvantages in the computer and modern technologies. Anyway, it is effectively to use it in educational process because pupils can learn how to collect, systematize and share necessary information and to make study enjoyable and easy.
