Эссе: What can be used on a flag to symbolize a country

Flag is a very important thing, even if most people think it is not. Flag is the face of the country, the massage that the country tells. How? Colors. Each color has its own meaning. Moreover, when they are together they have a general meaning as a group, that can be different when they are as independent elements. As for me, I like all of their meanings, but unfortunately, it is bad to use all of them. So just two or three colors should be chosen as a symbol of a country’s motto.

However, the problem is that there are so many countries in the world, what to do? You can use symbols or pictures of something meaningfull for your country, what your country is. For Russia, I would choose a bear, because we are the same strong and big, we can live in hard times-perfect symbol of who we are. For France I could pick a croissant. Joke, but it’s truth. It would be easier to recognize it’s flag, because many countries use those color strips.

But many people who I know think that flag is not important, they don’t even think of it. Moreover, children in a school where I have been working don’t even know flags of most countries. I think this is a tragedy, which is why we have a generation of indifference to everything. Flags make us being patriots, and just patriots can do deeds worthy of their country.
