Эссе: Comparative analysis of leadership types

Successful organizations differ from their counterparts mainly in having more dynamic and effective leadership. In modern Russian, under the leadership, from the point of view of the owner, it means either an individual 'head' or a group of 'management', or the process, ie, having individual characteristics of the way of managing the organization. The words leadership and leader are synonymous with the words leadership and leader.

The nature of leadership can be better understood when compared to management. Being a Manager and being a leader in an organization are not the same thing. The Manager in his influence on the work of subordinates and building relationships with them primarily uses and relies on the official basis of power and the sources that feed it. Leadership, as a specific type of social management, is based more on the process of social impact, but rather interaction in the organization. This process is much more complex, requiring a high level of interdependence of their participants. In contrast to the actual management leadership involves the presence of followers in the organization, not subordinates. Accordingly, the 'boss - subordinate' relationship, characteristic of the traditional view of management, is replaced by the 'leader - follower' relationship. In my course work, I outlined the basic concepts of leadership and showed the uniqueness and importance of the Manager's work, made an attempt to highlight those moments in the relationship between the leader and followers that make it successful and effective leadership.
