Travelling abroad is one of the most common hobbies in the modern world. Many people are fond of visiting foreign countries, tasting exotic dishes and exploring unusual cultures. They consider travelling abroad as the way to understand the culture of your own country better. But there are people who thinks differently. They are sure that travelling can be even harmful as you can begin to consider your country as undeveloped and boring. I firmly believe that travelling is a wonderful opportunity to see the world and to understand your own country deeper. To begin with, travelling broadens our mind. When you see another country, you begin to notice some differences between it and your motherland. It helps you to understand advantages and disadvantages of living in your own country. Furthermore, you can speak with foreigners about your motherland and feel proud of the cultural achievements of your native country. However, some people think differently. They claim that you should explore your own country thoroughly before visiting other ones. There is something in what they say. Still, I am sure that that you can understand your country deeply only after visiting another country as it helps you to comprise it. In conclusion, I want to say that travelling is a really exiting activity as it helps you to enrich your life and to look at your motherland with other eyes.
