Эссе: Technology - an important part of our lives / too many machines

I strongly believe that technical progress is a great thing. First of all, improving of the medicine helps to save a lot of people’s lives. Lots of new mixtures and methods are developed to lengthen lives and cure diseases. Secondly, space exploration is greatly discovered because of the technical progress. For example, scientists can predict natural disasters from space. It can make catastrophe preparations better. Moreover, development of such things as vacuum-cleaner, fridge, and washing machine made our routine easier. Other people are convinced that technical progress is now worth harming nature. To their minds, our space exploration causes a great pollution of territories around Earth. Astronauts leave there a huge amount of garbage which can’t be utilized. In addition to that, as our environment is greatly spoiled, there is a real threat of the global warming. I think technical progress is very useful. Besides, scientists work every day to create good facilities for space exploration and make it more effective. Furthermore, lots of the air-clearing constructions are built to clean our atmosphere. To sum up, I’d like to say that technical progress is our step to the future. But we also should mind that the planet we live on is our home and shelter. So, we should take care of it.
