Эссе: Scientific Progress is always good

Some people are convinced that technical progress always damages the environment and leads to irreparable consequences. Nevertheless, there are those, who affirm that modern inventions are safe for nature and even can reconstruct and support in. Let us go into the matter. Personally, I think that human's work is harmful for the environment, because people use technical progress to reach their own goals and seldom think about results of these activities. Firstly, cars are the most dangerous objects of technical progress, which throw toxic substances, pollute air and influence the environment. Besides, modern technologies can lead to technological disasters, which will threaten not only nature, but also mankind. However, some people believe that there are some branches of technical progress, that are harmless for the environment. Thus, digital technologies do not hurt nature and give a lot of advantages for development of new industries of progress. Besides, thanks to technical progress humanity tends to create different types of machines and appliances, which are safe for the environment and able to restore it. I disagree with this opinion. Despite people try to care about nature there are lots of manufactures, that are efficient, but they thrown toxic wastes into reservoirs. Moreover, people are crazy about mineral production in technical age. It can lead to devastation of natural resources and even be a reason of climate changing. In conclusion, I would like to say that technical progress influences the environment negatively. People devastate nature for their own benefits. But humanity should think about this activity or one day because of technical progress our planet will become an enormous, lifeless desert.
