Эссе: Playing a game is fun only when you win

Nowadays video games have become an integral part of growing up a child and adult entertainment. Many people think that this pastime is a waste of time, but not everyone thinks so. I strongly believe that playing video games has a lot of benefits for anyone. To start with, thanks to them, gamers find friends with the same interests and habits, so this is a great way to socialize. Secondly, it improves decision-making speed and attention to details. Finally, this kind of entertainment reduces the level of stress and aggression, making the person happy and joyful. However, others consider computer games useless phenomenon that brings only harm. The say it isolates people from their families. What is more, computer games are enemy to health. Usually teenagers sit at a computer for half a day and it is big threat to eyesight. Nevertheless, I cannot agree with this opinion. Isolation from society can arise from television, work, and so on. Many parents play video games with their children and this only unites them. In addition, if you do this hobby intermittently and according to your plan for the day, then your health will not suffer. To sum up, I want to say that playing computer games is not a complete waste of time. But there can be no doubt that spending too much time gaming isn’t good for you.
