Эссе: It is the government’s responsibility to protect the environment

Nowadays, the problem of protecting the environment causes great arguments and controversy. Some people think that our government have to care about the environment while others believe that it is the responsibility of each tellurian. To my mind, the government plays the important role in taking care of the environment. For one thing, the largest amount of pollution is normally created by big enterprises and factories. Only the governments have the power or ability to restrict or force them to control pollutions in a reasonable measurement. In addition, the government can oblige us to care about the environment in the way of abiding by the laws. We will not have any choice besides to obey. However, there exists another point of view on this issue. Some people believe that each person on the Earth should think about nature, we do not need to shift the responsibility on the government. Care about the environment starts with the person himself. Despite my respect for this opinion, I cannot share it because people always need a leader or a person who will show them a right way to do. That is why the governments exist. In conclusion, I would like to say that every viewpoint has a right to exist. Some people think that individuals are more important in taking care of environment, but I still strongly believe that the government should be major responsible to it.
