Эссе: A University degree is a must for success in modern world

Nowadays many people want to be successful. Some of them think that receiving of a university degree is essential to successful people, but others think that the degree isn’t necessary. I’m in favour of the first opinion and now I’ll explain why.

Firstly, in the university students get a lot of information. It’s very useful. Knowledge is very important to real professionals. How can you become an excellent scientist without receiving education? No way, really. Secondly, you can meet a lot of interesting and inspiring people in the university. They can share their unique experience with you or motivate you. It’s also useful for your progress. Last, but not least, a lot of employers prefer applicants who have a Bachelor’s or even a Master’s degree. It’s quite easier to find a job if you have a university degree.

My opponents can say that there are a lot of successful people who have no higher education, even millionaires. Moreover, they often think that studying in the university takes too much time. I disagree with these people. I think that education is important for everyone. Education teaches you how to avoid any mistakes and improves your skills. Some millionaires lose their wealth very easy and fast. But maybe they wouldn’t have bankrupted if they had received a degree in economy. Receiving a degree isn’t a waste of time. Education is a beneficial thing.

In conclusion, to get success, you should work hard and study a lot. Life is what you make it.
